Security and Ordering
We take all the available precautions to ensure your online transactions are encrypted and secure. However, if you are not comfortable with online transactions, feel free to use the shopping cart method but bypass the credit card information, click on "Basket contents", print that out and send it via US mail or fax. (Please be sure to include 7.75% sales tax if the order will be shipped to California) Copy and paste if you want to e-mail us the order. If you'd like, we will call back for credit card information after we receive the order, or you can send it on with check or money order. Please do not send cash. (If a personal check is used, there may be a delay in delivery, to allow time for the check to clear) For more information, click here.
Once
orders are received, we will personally confirm it through e-mail
or telephone. If necessary, we will send a digital shot for orders
requiring approval. Orders will ship within 7 working days, via
US Mail unless otherwise specified. If rush status is desired,
check that option when choosing shipping methods.

Sterling/Gold-filled
earwires
We are aware of metal sensitivities many people have. All our
earwires are sterling silver, or 14/20 gold-filled. Some people
cannot even tolerate those, therefore, we offered solid 14K earwires
as an earwire option. To keep the cost down (these are very costly),
we offered it in the kidney shaped wire only. If you have specific
desires, please e-mail us before ordering.
Beads
The glass beads used are primarily made in the Czech Republic,
known for their exceptional quality in glass work. I prefer these
beads, and you will notice the difference as well. Keep in mind,
minor differences in color, shape or design is to be expected.
Rest assured we do make sure to match up a pair for earrings.
Color
expectations
Every attempt was made to match the photographs to the actual
color of the item, however every monitor renders color differently,
therefore, be aware that the color of the beads will not be exactly
how you see them on your computer.
Stringing
material
The necklaces and other items that are strung are on a very strong,
very flexible nylon coated wire called accuflex. If you are familiar
with Tiger Tail, you will know that tiger tail kinks very easily.
Accuflex is much more resistant to this. I chose to use the wire
over the string, due to the durability. I have been very pleased
with the results, and I am sure you will too.
Clasps
I use sterling silver and gold-filled spring ring clasps. I have
gravitated to the precious metals due to the number of people
who are allergic to the base metals many clasps are made of.
Color
Lined Beads
On
some of these items, I have used color lined beads. These are
very pretty colors, and often very intense. Keep in mind, that
if immersed in water, it is very likely you will eventually end
up with clear, or altered color beads. I am informing you of this,
simply because I want you to be satisfied for years, with the
items you will be purchasing from us at Dakini. If you have any
questions, please, feel free to ask. If you like an item, and
like the color, but want beads that are not color lined, please
make a notation in the Information box on the purchase page, we
will do our best to give you something comparable. If we feel
the need, we will take a digital shot of it, to show you before
shipping.
Toe
Anklets
These
items are very fun. At the craft shows, I fit each one to the
purchaser's foot. I have several sized elastic backs on hand,
and custom fit each one. For the purpose of this web site, I will
send you the toe anklet with a length of elastic, and instructions
on how to finish them off. It is a very easy procedure, and you
will have an item that is perfect for your foot.
