Ordering
There
are several methods of placing an order.
Online
Transactions
The
easiest and quickest method is secure online transactions.
At Dakini Jewelry, we realize how important security is to
you, so we have taken a number of precautions to help ensure
the safety and confidentiality of private information sent
over the internet.
Today,
most online ordering is secure, provided you are using a browser
that can support secure transactions. (Netscape 2.0 and later,
Internet Explorer 2.0 and later, and the web browser for AOL
3.0 and later are all SSL browsers) You can tell if you are
in a secure environment if the lock in the bottom left of
the page is closed. When the lock is closed, all information
exchanged is encrypted and cannot be accessed by anyone else.
This lock should appear whenever sensitive information is
being shared, (i.e. Credit card numbers.)
To
ensure safety and confidentiality, we utilize Secure Socke
Layer technology (SSL), the industry standard for transferring
sensitive information over the Internet When you enter your
credit card information online, it is encrypted so others
cannot access it. Whenever we ask you to send confidential
information over the Internet, including personal account
data, we require that a "secure session" using SSL
first be established.
Look
for the "https://" in the URL of order form pages,
(where you are entering sensitive information such as credit
card numbers) as well as the locked box. This is the confirmation
that you are using a secure web site.
Fax
or Mail
through Online Store
You
can go through the process of selecting items, choosing options,
and having it tally up your totals. Once you are done with
your order, select "Basket Contents", it gives you
the item totals, and the order total, from there you can print
your order form. If you live in California, be sure to include
7.75% sales tax. If you live in the US, (Hawaii and Alaska
included) add $3.50 shipping and handling, Canada/Mexico $12.00,
all other international $18.00.
