What
Is Fit To Be Bride?
Fit
To Be Bride is an exercise program that teaches you how to
sculpt your shape based on your specific body type, so that
you'll look your best in your wedding dress.
As
a woman, your genetic body type plays a part in determining
what your body looks like. Based on that body type, you will
tend to gain body fat faster in certain areas, and to lose
it more easily in others. The same principle holds true with
muscle. That's why improperly training certain areas, by lifting
too much, or doing the wrong kinds of exercises, can worsen
matters by making those areas even bigger! I've witnessed
this countless times in the gym with female exercisers, who
spend hours training their bodies with squats, lunges, and
stairs. Sure, their muscles were toned, but they also ended
up with big butts and thunder thighs.
That's
because, while some women can get away with that type of training,
others have body types that pack on muscle more in the lower
half, but they often don't realize it until its too late!
The same is true with some women for the upper half of the
body.
Fit
To Be Bride is about knowing how to identify your specific
body type, and then learning how to make it look the best
it can in the limited time that you have between now and your
wedding day. Let's be honest - it's a short term solution
- but that's exactly what you need right now. You're getting
married, and you need to know how to train your body to look
as good as it can look when you put that gown on in two, four,
six or however many months from now. This book will tell you
how to do that.
What's
My Body Type?
|
Am
I An EctoBride?
|
 |
EctoBrides
are women who we typically think of as being naturally
thin. It seems that they can eat almost anything they
want, and still stay that way. A classic example of
an EctoBride would be any supermodel. They usually float
down the runway, with their light frames, long slim
limbs, and narrow shoulders and hips.
If
you're thinking, "Gee this is me, but my hips aren't
so narrow", you're probably an EctoBride who naturally
carries a little more body fat, and has more prominent
and curvaceous hips and belly. Of course, it only seems
like you can eat whatever you want - you know better.
Keep in mind that you don't have to be a six foot tall
supermodel in order to be an EctoBride. If you're naturally
slim, you are one.

Am
I A MesoBride?
|
|
MesoBrides
are naturally strong and athletic women. Most of the
time, they are regular exercisers, because they have
an innate ability to do so. A classic example of a MesoBride
would be any female gymnast. They display sturdy shoulders
and arms, a narrow, tapered waistline, and well defined
muscle contours, as they bounce, balance and tumble
their way across the floor.
If
you are strong and athletic, but aren't as lean as most
gymnasts (and who is?), you're probably a MesoBride
that is a bit softer and more curvaceous. Even though
you may not be ready for the balance beam, you still
have a relatively well developed musculature, that responds
quickly to exercise.

Am
I An EndoBride?
|
 |
EndoBrides
are women we consider to be fuller figured. They usually
carry more body fat than the other two types, and have
more curvaceous figures. There is not one typical example
of a EndoBride. They tend to have softer bodies with gentle
curves, full, smooth shoulders, and prominent hips and
thighs. Examples of this body type range from Marilyn
Monroe and Drew Barrymoore, who have classic hourglass
figures, to Oprah Winfrey and Rosie O'Donnell, who carry
more fullness on their frames. |
As
you look to determine your body type,
keep the following points in mind:
- Relatively
few women fall exclusively into one body type category.
Most are in between two types, having tendencies from both.
Let's use Oprah Winfrey as an example. Her fuller figure
makes her an EndoBride, but she's also been known to run
marathons. While she's training for races, she displays
some of the athleticism of a MesoBride. When deciding which
training plan to follow, choose the workout for the body
type that most closely describes you. In Oprah's case, that
would be the EndoBride workout.
-
Height doesn't matter. Body types are based solely on the
shape of your body.
